Stock-Exit
TEXAID offers customized solutions to enable circular textile value chains. With over 40 years of experience, TEXAID is a trusted solution provider for collection, sorting, resale & re-commerce, and recycling of pre- and post-consumer textiles and footwear. Over 1000 employees process more than 280 million items (around 80,000 tons) of end-of-use textiles and shoes throughout Europe and the USA each year.
Today’s Lack Of Sustainability
Today’s linear system of «take – make – waste» needs to change. New textiles are produced, used and discarded instead of putting them to a second use. The production of new textiles requires natural resources that are limited, and the current system has a significant negative impact on our planet.
The transition to a circular system, where garments are kept in use for longer, is an opportunity to harness untapped potential around customer loyalty, economic growth, and ecological sustainability.
TEXAID offers professional and confidential management of pre-consumer goods. This includes overstock, off-season and excess inventory, as well as returns. Curated service options based on brand specific requirements are available for pre-consumer goods, including:
Customized delabeling solutions are available as a brand protection measure before resale or recycling. Often, delabeling can be done in a way that preserves the function of the garment, allowing for resale and brand anonymity.
Re-commerce is the most sustainable option for stock exit goods, allowing garments a full life cycle. This is also the highest valorisation for stock exit goods.
Fully customized and confidential recycling solutions include downcycling goods for a new purpose into cleaning wipers or insulation materials. Additionally, if textile to textile recycling is of interest for your brand, we can partner to transform stock exit items into new inventory.
Certificates are issued to confirm resale, recycling or thermal recovery.
Transparent reporting including weights and breakdown of which solution was taken for the goods.
